Job Description & Requirements Interim Director of Nursing, Pediatrics StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $175000.00 - $185000.00 An Oregon hospital is seeking their next Interim Director of Nursing, Pediatrics! The Position - The Interim Director of Nursing (DON), Pediatrics, will be responsible for the 24-hour oversight of nursing operations throughout the department. - Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Interim Director will have an oversight of multiple nursing services throughout the department and will be responsible for ongoing departmental initiatives. - This leader will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team, physicians, nursing, and other ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient care while implementing and maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives. - Ideal candidates will be collaborative leaders who will develop, maintain, and foster positive working relationships and will lead onboarding and training initiatives throughout the department. - Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements - BSN is required; a master's degree is strongly preferred. - Active OR RN is required. - Union experience is strongly preferred. - Director-level leadership experience is required. Compensation Details - Compensation Range: $175,000 to $185,000 annually. - The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. - The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
