Job Description:

The Assistant Controller is responsible for the accounting functions related to client-owned single-family, multi-family, and/or commercial properties as well as special projects.
Job responsibilities include:--- Initiating monthly property closings and financial reporting--- Prepare and analyze property level balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements, and property budgets and forecasts--- Reconciliations of accounts--- Create and book property accruals and journal entries
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-3 years experience in G/L accounting (Property accounting preferred)
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
