Accounts Receivable Jr. AccountantPosition Description:The Accounts Receivable Accountant provides a wide-range of support with a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and accounting skills that assist the daily business needs of Infinity Solar. This person must have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Superior analytical skills and ability to work cohesively with others are a must.Reporting Relationship:This position reports to Director of AccountingEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Calculate and track sales commissions, and communicate with Sales teamPrepare and update AR cash flow forecastsVarious data entry activities via shared online sheetsSupport team efforts by addressing escalated accountsCompile and perform both routine and complex data analysisGenerate invoices and account statementsPerform account reconciliationsMaintain accounts receivable files and recordsProduce weekly financial reportsInvestigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiriesMaintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as neededUpdate client accounts based on payment or contact informationQualifications and Skills:Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and deliver high quality workInterpersonal skills and analytical, problem-solving abilitiesProblem solve through research and analytical skills with a focus on resultsLearn quickly and be adaptable to change management within processes and applicationsHighly organized and proficientPositive and safe work ethic, teamplayer, reliableAttention to detail with a capacity to review large amounts of data for accuracyProfessional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationshipsAccurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environmentCommunicate any issues or concerns to managerMaintain confidential and meticulous recordsEducation and Experience:Associates degree in accounting is requiredEquivalent education/experience may be consideredQuick book experience requiredA minimum of one to two years related experience in an accountant positionAdvanced computer skills required (i.e., VLookup, SumIF, Pivot Tables, Microsoft, Google)
