VANCOUVER VISION CLINICis seeking a Front DeskReceptionistemployee,
the first point of contact for patients who call to receive care or
schedule an appointment at our practice. This position requires a
special set of skills in providing customer support and care for
our patients to include greeting each person who calls with a warm,
friendly, professional disposition and providing information with
regard to appointment availabilities, directions to our clinics,
and instructions to access new patient registration forms via our
website. The scheduler will also direct various calls to other
appropriate departments and serve as a liaison between patient and
medical support staff.
Schedule patient appointment and enters required patient
demographic and insurance information into scheduling system
Answer all calls and responds to inquiry, or directs caller as
Other duties may be assigned
Excellent telephone etiquette
Call Center or Customer Service experience a must
Intermediate computer experience
Possess skills to ensure absolute accuracy and attention to
Electronic Medical Records knowledge highly preferred
Ability to handle a large volume of calls and inquiries
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
