Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time,
permanent hourly Classified Office Assistant 2 position to work
approximately 17 hours a week. This position supports the Tutoring
Services Department. The work schedule for this position is Monday
through Friday with flexible and varying hours depending on the
needs of the department.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Greet and direct students, tutors, and others in a courteous
- Assist tutors and students with computer sign-in and lab
- Provide information about services to students, staff, and
- Assist students and tutors with scheduling appointments.
- Assist program manager and support supervisor with related
tasks and duties.
- Perform a variety of routine clerical duties including,
processing documents and records.
- Utilizing phone and email to effectively communicate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials,

will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- One (1) year of clerical or office experience.JOB
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Suite, as well as the ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups and
- Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically,
culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
- The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary
period and the employee will earn permanent status after
successfully completing probation.

SALARY RANGE: $16.52-$21.26/hour. Step B-M - Range: 32 - Code:
Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the
salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
