The key focus of our Field Marketing Coordinator will be on driving trial to all World Wide Wings locations with a secondary focus on building brand awareness outside the four walls and generating excitement within to help build guest loyalty and increase volume of purchase. Our Field Marketing Coordinator will work closely with associates of all levels within the World Wide Wings organization, as well as external agencies and licensing partners, and must have the ability to lead in a highly collaborative environment. World Wide Wings is passionate about being the best and we look for team members who embrace the same customer mania philosophy.Position Description - As a Field Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating local store marketing plans and integrating BWW Corporate marketing programs into World Wide Wings restaurants. You need to be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communication skills. You must operate well in a team environment and manage numerous tasks easily while demonstrating the ability to effectively prioritize the work assigned.Job Functions - Restaurant Operationso Provide leadership in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing an integrated marketing strategy that supports our financial and revenue goals for each restaurant while ensuring each program is tailored for the communities they serve.o Interpret and analyze all sales driving opportunities and develop plans to execute the best ones.o Work with the operations team to create fun sales driving events with great execution. - Community Relations and Sponsorshipso Build and maintain community relationships with schools, local chambers, and other government agencies.o Manage various local sponsorships including ISU, Bradley University, and others.o Create excitement and track results for fundraising events including Eat Wings Raise Funds, Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics of IL, and other fundraising activities. - Vendor Relationso Establish and leverage relationships with all vendors to develop sales driving promotions.o Maximize the licensing agreements owned by vendors such as Widmer and the Timbers, Bud Light and the Super Bowl, and Miller Lite and Pac 10, so we can utilize their logos and activate programs.o Manage the rate per case support we get from the beer companies to drive sales and excitement. - Media Managemento Direct local account representatives to maximize our media spend and value added programs to drive traffic to World Wide Wings restaurants.o Research media outlets and execute ads that best fit our marketing strategies, while understanding budgetary limitations and negotiating to meet those budgetso Gain knowledge of local bloggers, especially around beer, to help drive traffic to BWW.o Coordinate with the Chief Marketing Officer to develop quarterly and yearly flights for print, radio, digital, TV, and all other media campaigns. - Street Teamso Work with District Managers and General Managers to develop local marketing programs to maximize sales at each location.o Create and help implement business to business programs to build lunch and happy hour sales.o Empower the street teams by providing the tools and motivation necessary to drive traffic.Requirements - Reside Vancouver Wa area, and have a reliable car with a valid driver's license and insurance. - Position requires 30% travel including some weekends, to all markets served by WWW now and in the future. - Additional travel to participate in other BWW events will also be required. - Travel out of market should be anticipated to mirror the mix of the restaurants making up WWW at any time during employment. - A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business, marketing, or communications, plus a solid understanding of all aspects of guerrilla marketing, especially as they apply to building restaurant sales. - Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Ability to work with graphics designers and be experienced with Adobe Photo Shop and Publisher is a plus. - Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency. - Ability to independently track and monitor initiatives to anticipate what's next to drive improvement. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to consistently achieve or beat deadlines while working independently and with a team approach. - Walks the Talk: True enthusiasm and passion for our business. - Have effective written and communication skills including group presentation.Additional Responsibilities - Regularly participate in weekly manager meetings to educate teams on upcoming events and promotions. - Maintain knowledge of key marketing programs on Brand Center and current marketing windows. - Flexible schedule for travel of company business, to and from restaurants.
