Overview
The Marketing Specialist will work with the Division President and Director Sales to help coordinate the company's marketing strategy and to provide administrative support to the Division President.


Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to the Division President
  • Receptionist of the division
  • Handle and screen all incoming/outgoing mail and faxes and incoming calls
  • Type and proofread letters, memos, reports, and other correspondence
  • Establish and maintain appropriate documentation and files as needed
  • Make business travel arrangements for executive level division associates
  • Order flowers, food, and other gifts as necessary for the Division
  • Maintain Division files
  • Make business travel arrangements for executive level division associates
  • Cross train in other areas as necessary
  • Provide data and input to generate overall marketing strategy and assist in executing marketing plan
  • Facilitate and coordinate grand opening of new communities by, working with interior decorators on new models and Welcome Home Center designs.
  • Manage market research function to ensure strategic plans are effective and relevant to marketplace
  • Assist in managing advertising and promotional budgets
  • Monitor signage and media to ensure compliance with Regional and Corporate standards
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Work closely with Marketing company in adjusting market strategies accordingly to remain competitive with the changing market
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, etc.
  • Facilitate the promotion of incentives, grand openings of new communities, close-out community pricing opportunities, special financing opportunities, etc.



    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
    • Minimum 3 years Marketing experience
    • Minimum 2 years in administrative functions
    • Minimum 3 years of Homebuilding experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude, deal effectively with confrontational situations and maintain objectivity with homeowners, fellow associates, and in all public relations
    • Excellent computer skills including advanced Word, Excel, Lotus Notes (e-mail)
    • Requires resourcefulness, patience and clarity and strong management and motivational skills
    • Valid driver's license and good driving recordPhysical RequirementsSome office work which may require the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Able to drive a vehicle.FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
