Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available within a
school setting located in Yelm, WA. This contract position offers
the chance to work with a diverse student population, providing
critical speech and language support to help students overcome
communication challenges and succeed academically. Key
Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language,
and communication disorders in students. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and
document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Provide guidance and support to staff and families regarding
communication strategies and resources. Participate in team
meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
related to speech-language pathology services. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited
program. Valid state licensure or certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-aged
children in educational settings. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students,
families, and colleagues. Knowledge of current assessment tools and
intervention strategies for speech and language disorders.
