Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A school district in McMinnville, OR is seeking
experienced Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students for
the current school year through June 5, 2026. This full-time,
onsite contract opportunity offers a meaningful chance to make a
positive impact on students with diverse learning needs. There are
6 openings available across multiple settings: 2 Elementary
Developmental classrooms (15 students each, supported by 6
assistants; focus on Behavior, ASD, and Communication needs) 1
Elementary Behavior classroom (Grades 3-5, 16 students, 5
assistants) 1 Middle School Resource room (40 students, shared with
2 assistants) 1 Elementary Resource, serving 2 sites located 2
miles apart (35 students, 1 assistant at each building) 1 Middle
School Behavior classroom (15 students, 5 assistants) To be
considered, candidates must possess an active Special Education
certification/license in Oregon and supply contact information for
their most recent supervisor as a reference. Responsibilities
include: Delivering tailored instruction that meets individual
student goals and IEP requirements Managing classroom behavior and
fostering a supportive, inclusive environment Collaborating with
assistants, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students
success Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting
teaching strategies accordingly This role is based onsite in
McMinnville, OR with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Immediate start dates are preferred to align with the school
