Job Description:
WELCOME TO HOOD RIVER COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT! We are looking for
substitute teachers who are interested and willing to work with
students having special needs at all of our schools.
Substitute/Guest teachers are paid for either 4 hours or 8
hours/day. The 25/26 rate of pay is $221.02 for a full day or
$110.51 for a half-day. Current Requirements Current requirements
for Substitute/Guest Teachers (TSPC teaching license): Valid Oregon
teaching license (https://www.oregon.gov/tspc/Pages/index.aspx);
ideally with a Special Education endorsement Electronic Application
with letters of reference Onboarding paperwork Annual mandatory
trainings Criminal background check Sexual misconduct reference
check with prior educational employers (if any) Note: Substitutes
should not expect to be called to work during recognized school
breaks (Winter, Spring, Summer breaks). Once your application is
