JOB DUTIES Develop, evaluate, revise and apply technical quality assurance methods to equipment, processes, and product. Ensure activities and items are in compliance with company and industry quality assurance standards and government regulations. Perform analysis and identify trends as it relates to quality processes and product and recommend corrective action when necessary. Ensure that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Work with manufacturing to drive quality improvement. Review existing techniques and objectives in relation to customer specifications. Investigate customer related issues and acts as customer liaison. Check parameters and testing procedures on a continual basis. Ensure that any changes or modifications in the production process will not have detrimental effects on quality parameters. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of work experience in a process or quality engineering role and a B.S. in chemical, metallurgical, or mechanical engineering, and/or equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of the required knowledge and skills. Experience with statistical analysis methods, including SPC. Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively work multiple projects concurrently with a wide variety of personalities. Experience working in a production environment. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Previous work experience in a similar Quality Engineering role. Semiconductor or related large plant/ high tech environment experience ideal. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and safety procedures. Must be able to work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals.
