If so, our client has an Advanced Quality Engineer opportunity in Vancouver, WA.The Advanced Quality Engineer at is responsible for the overall customer quality requirements for new products through the design and development stage of the project, leading all the relative quality-based activities from corporate level and support of continuous improvement of existing product. The AQE will work with a cross functional teams to drive upstream quality metrics to develop products and manufacturing processes.This position will be based with their global plastics program engineering team at their corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for achieving our customer's quality requirements.Support and lead quality engineering requirements within APQP process and lead customer APQP activity.Facilitate prototype and pre-production dimensional layouts.Lead cross functional meetings to review all quality documents and status updates. Report items with highest risk to management, develop plan to reduce/eliminate risks whenever possible.Lead problem solving activities.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.Six or more (6+) years' experience in plastics injection molding.Preferred Experience:Plastics molding, assembly, and/or automotive experience.CMQ/OE certification.Greenbelt or Blackbelt Six Sigma training.
