Position Details:
Title: Sr. Field Service Technician
Location: Vancouver, WA *WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN 45 Minutes of -
Vancouver, WA**
Shift: Days, typically M-F / OT paid for weekends
Compensation: $30- $50/hr. DOEQ with OT
Benefits: 40-80 hours paid vacation for your first year, offer
relocation assistance, company vehicle or rental provided as

plan (company pays 75% of your premiums), 401k plan with up to 5%
match, or profit sharing, all PPE and standard tool set is
provided, accumulate your travel points for hotels, flights,

Travel: Expect 60% - 70% travel domestically as needed (focus is
primarily NW US)

Senior Field Service Technicians are responsible for providing
preventative maintenance, warranty, and repair services on
electrical systems at the customers' location. Your job tasks will
include, but are not limited to:
Delegating and overseeing all onsite work activity
Daily JSA, lockout, and test sheet review
Assisting others with high level technical tasks such as
troubleshooting using wiring diagrams or electrical prints
Communication with the customer on any issues found as well as
onsite progress

This position currently consists of 60%+ travel. We are growing our
customer base in the Southeast, but we do travel all over the
United States and this position requires significant travel. We do
not place employees in a location for more than 4 weeks at a time
(most jobs are between 1-3 weeks), and there are significant travel
perks and flexibility in scheduling and vacation. This position is
not your normal 9-5/40-hour work week.
WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN 45 Minutes of Rockmart, GA.
Requirements:
3+ years experience with maintenance, testing, inspection, and
troubleshooting of electrical equipment rated at 480V or above.
Expertise in working with switchgear, circuit breakers,
transformers, and associated electrical systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related
to electrical maintenance/testing and NFPA guidelines.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line
diagrams, and technical manuals.
Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
Ability to pass a drug test at all times
Ability to pass background checks for government or private secure
facilities
Physically fit enough to lift up to 50 lbs, carry equipment, kneel,
climb, and walk long distances if needed.
Basic computer skills that include email, Microsoft Excel and Word,
Adobe Reader, SharePoint, etc.
Familiarity with all types of hand tools
Leadership experience
Preferred Skills:
Certifications in electrical safety and maintenance
Naval Nuclear Power Training
Manufacturing or Data Facility Maintenance Technician
Power Generating Station Technician
Army Prime Power School Training
Military Experience
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
Master Electrician's License
NETA Certificate (2 or higher)
NICET Certificate (2 or higher)
Familiarity with multiple types of electrical testing equipment and
procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully
diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner.
