Description In this role, you will routinely use molds and presses
in the production process to produce first part and regular
production parts efficiently and with minimal supervision. You will
work on manufacturing assignments per written procedures, requiring
the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices. A
team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively
with co-workers are essential. Responsibilities Operate press
machines to create parts using molds. Clean and prime parts with
appropriate chemicals and solutions. Measure stock to ensure
correct thickness and length. Place materials by hand in molds, on
mandrels, or in build fixtures. Weigh stock and salvageable scrap.
Monitor production for defects and ensure early detection of bad
parts. Use production equipment and tools, such as calipers and
scales, regularly. Complete materials handling recordkeeping
according to company and ISO standards. Follow internal safety
policies and procedures at all times. Maintain a clutter-free and
safe work area, including setup and cleanup at the start and end of
shifts. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and
managers. Essential Skills Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Proficiency in reading a tape measure. Mechanical aptitude and
attention to detail. Skilled in the use of hand tools, such as
calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
Hand dexterity and experience with hand fabrication tools like
scissors and cutting knives. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Combination of relevant education and experience can be considered

Environment Work in a manufacturing environment with variable
conditions such as temperature instability and atmospheric
conditions including fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or vapors.
Exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals is part of the
role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based
out of Mcminnville, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $18.30 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length
of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to
