The Customer Group (CG) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Sales, Marketing, Applications, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities & IT. They partner closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, services, software and expertise, to help them manage yield throughout their fabrication process-from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our service organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and corporate offering to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Description - Account Manager West Coast or Pacific Northwest

Account Manager capable of synthesizing and implementing sales strategies, crafting, and nurturing valued business relationships, and delivering outstanding customer experiences to increase sales opportunities for KLA's inspection and metrology product portfolio. Individual will deal with a culturally diverse customer base. Primary customers are located on the West Coast but will also interact with both customer and KLA worldwide teams to achieve results. The position requires both strategic and tactical thought processes, the ability to distill large amounts of complex information into the core basic issues and drive solutions. A passionate self-starter able to communicate with effective clarity is a must. This position requires knowledge of large account management and sales experience interacting with customer technical engineers, procurement specialists, and management teams. A technical degree is preferred. Pace will be fast and exciting. Individual will need to handle conflicting priorities while remaining agile, focused, and balanced. Teaming with KLA resources at the factory and within the business unit is critical to achieve required results.

* Maintaining knowledge of diverse company products and marketing messages

Qualifications & Desired Values and Skills

* Minimum 3-5 years semiconductor capital equipment sales experience
* Bachelor's degree (technical preferred)
* Excellent phone and communication skills
* Proven sales track record
* Optimistic approach to difficult situations
* Perseverance
* Technically savvy, a fast learner, and independent
* Excellent business sense or knowledge
* Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
