OVERVIEW As the leader of the Retail Talent Acquisition
Department, you will lead the team responsible for acquiring the
best people in the industry to meet the current and future needs of
the business. As the Vice President, Retail Talent Acquisition, you
will set the direction for Retail Talent Acquisition enabling the
teams to source, assess, impress, and secure world-class talent to
propel the company's growth. And, with people at the heart of
everything you do, you will support your high-performing teams to
build rewarding careers LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES 1. TALENT
ACQUISITION STRATEGY To establish a proactive approach to building
an effective talent pipeline a) Employment Brand - Lead the Retail
Talent Acquisition inputs for the development of employment brand
to attract and secure global top talent b) Hiring Philosophy - Lead
the team to establish and formalize unique Retail talent-hiring
philosophies c) Hiring Cycles - Lead the team to establish,
formalize and maximize the optimal hiring cycles for recruiting
Retail talent based on best practices for school and employer
timelines d) Talent Profiles - Lead the team to establish and
formalize the talent profiles for Best and Brightest Up and Comers
and World-Class Seasoned Professionals as it relates to Retail
talent e) World Class Talent - Lead the team to determine the top
geographic focus points and levers for recruiting world-class f)
Compensation Guidelines - Lead the team to ensure pay decisions
resonate with provided guidelines while identifying opportunities
for improvement g) Recruitment Strategies & Tactics - Lead the team
to establish and formalize custom recruitment strategies for Retail
talent 2. SOURCE [M] To find and deliver the right people for
assessment a) Headhunting - Lead the team to identify and source
Retail world-class seasoned professionals & best and brightest up
and coming talent b) Agencies - Lead the team to evaluate when to
partner with external recruitment agencies for select Retail roles
and engage as required c) Networking - Lead the team to actively
build and leverage personal and professional networks in Retail
industries to maximize sourcing opportunities d) Partnerships -
Lead the team to actively build and leverage professional

postings are accurate and compelling and validate applicants to
select candidates to screen f) Referrals - Lead the team to create

preliminary evaluation of Retail candidate resumes (pre-screen) for

Interview - Lead the team to set up interviews with selected Retail
candidates, and validate hiring managers are effectively evaluating
candidates in interviewsd) Assignment - Lead the team to set up
candidate assignments, and validate hiring managers are effectively
evaluating candidate assignmentse) Reference Check - Lead the team
to complete reference checks on final Retail candidates, as
requiredf) Executive Assessment - Lead the team to manage the
