The NAM role will be involved in all product categories within the MX Business product line including Mobile Phones, Tablets, Power Accessories, Device Protection, Wearables, Portable Audio and Laptops. The incumbent will engage customers in order to grow relationships, and achieve revenue, profit and market share targets. The incumbent must also have a strong understanding of National Retail landscape including existing experience building promotional & marketing plans, analyzing performance metrics and managing forecasting & supply chain solutions. The incumbent is the key point of contact for all account activity including all internal connections with Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.Role and ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build sales growth for Best Buy Canada & assigned accounts within MX product lines
  • Develop and execute tactical plans, manage budgets, forecasts, promotional planning and pricing. - Key point of contact for all account activity including internal connections with SCM/Mktg./Finance.
  • Engage teams within Best Buy's organization in order to grow relationships, execution of product assortment & promotions to achieve revenue, profit and market share targets.
  • Manage product assortment by presenting new and current offerings for expansion, securing pricing & negotiating programs, executing end to end product launches & lifecycle sustainment.
  • Collaborate with internal & external supply chain teams weekly to maintain proper forecast management by SKU, securing POs and ensuring on time product delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to optimize advertising strategies to increase placements/impressions/ROI, and plan campaigns to increase sales during peak/non-peak periods in a promotional calendar.
  • Analyze products sales performance to drive improve promotional planning with product management team.
  • Develop and grow Samsung Brand with all accounts.
  • Collaborate with all accounts on joint business planning, quarterly/annual business reviews, brand management, online merchandising and retail sales execution.
  • Manage and implement business trade spend within account programs and management budgets.
  • Analyze high priority account performance quarterly utilizing Samsung KPI's
  • Travel Requirements: Expect to travel as required to fulfil role, including to Toronto (SECA HQ, min quarterly) for ongoing meetings.Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree preferredKnowledge:
      • Strong knowledge of National Retail landscapes; in particular experience working directly with Best Buy Canada
      • Strong analytical skills leveraging data sources to develop a product sales strategy
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills
      • Proficient in MS OfficeCompetencies:
        • Proven selling ability
        • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in organizations: from senior executives to support staff within and outside of the company
        • Excellent organizational and planning skills
        • Must be highly self-motivated and capable of self-directed work given only broad objectives and limited direct supervision
        • Must be capable of planning, organizing and prioritizing multiple -and simultaneous projects and assignmentsExperience:
          • 5 to 7 years of Account Management experience required
          • Experience within the Mobile industry an asset
