We even partnered with Royal Chef Darren McGrady to create an outstanding menu!HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!Full-time opportunity!Competitive pay!Multiple Shifts!Walk-in interviews, weekdays from 9am-5pm!Leadership opportunity!BENEFITS--- Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident, and other insurances (pay as low as $40 per pay period!)--- Receive $900 annually paid into your HSA account--- Employer HSA Contributions--- Employee Assistance Program--- Earn $500 through our referral program--- Paid Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holidays--- Work/Life Balance, consistent/flexible schedules--- Opportunity for growth within the organization--- Achievement Awards--- Length of Service Bonuses: up to $2,000 progressively paid out over tenure--- Signature company jacket and plaque awarded every 5 years of service--- Complimentary meal during scheduled shiftCULINARY DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES--- Purchase all food and manage inventory, ensuring effective cost controls and vendor service and quality--- Actively prepare meals, manage the menu as planned, check-in food upon delivery, and manage dietary needs--- Training, manage, and schedule staff to ensure that excellent customer service is provided--- Ensure the highest nutrition and food quality for the health and pleasure of the residents while complying with all federal, state, and local regulations to ensure sanitary and safe operations--- Plans and executes entertaining dining events and themes in conjunctions with the Activities Director, Marketing Director, and other administrative staff to optimize the life and pleasure of the residents--- Perform other duties as assignedCULINARY DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS--- Candidates must have completed an approved Dietary Manager's Course or possess a ServSafe Certificate*--- Must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations--- Minimum of 1 year dining services management experience, including management of food inventories and budgets--- At least 2 years in a supervisory role of others preparing food and servicing customers--- Must be drug free and submit to urinary analysis drug screening upon hire and routinely--- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations--- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public--- Flexibility with schedule (must be able to work weekend and evening shifts)--- Basic knowledge of special dietary needs*Qualified candidates without ServSafe certificate may be considered but must obtain certification within first 30 days of employmentCOVID-19 RESPONSE: CONTROL AND PREVENTION--- Our Staff and resident vaccinations exceed CDC study percentages.--- Completed over 100 vaccine clinics to date, giving nearly 5,000 COVID-19 vaccines.--- Screening of EVERY person who enters a community for temperature, symptoms, travel history, and known exposure.--- Frequent and routine aerosol misting of viral disinfectant in the community.--- Installation of air purifiers throughout the community.--- Installation of ultraviolet sanitation stations at the entrance of many communities.--- Routine infection control training for staff and essential visitors.--- An increase in both food and PPE stock.--- Working with local and state health departments.--- Continuously evaluating conditions and making improvements to our COVID-19 prevention and response.ABOUT KOESLCH COMMUNITIESWe are third-generation, family-owned, and operated.
