safety-first environment.Role StatementThe Inventory Manager is
responsible for the stock replenishment of all product categories,
as well as the management of the overall inventory asset of the
company. Given that inventory is one of our largest assets, it is
critical that we govern that asset with an analytical approach to
optimize its effectiveness to the organization. The Inventory
Manager directly oversees and leads the LBM buying team, as well as
the hardlines product replenishment team, and reports to the Vice
President of Sales and Marketing.Outcomes for SuccessOversight of
inventory product replenishment processes of all product
categories.Directly manages the hardlines product replenishment
team.Directly manages the LBM buyer team.Accountable to inventory
level guidelines and ensures proper stock levels are maintained by
replenishment and buying teams.Work with VP of Sales and Marketing
to set metrics to measure performance of the replenishment and
buyer teams.Creates proactive play-calling strategy for managing
LBM commodity markets.Engaged leadership role in organization
helping to set company strategy on an ongoing

Requirements:
Qualifications5 years' experience in building material and hardware
category procurement.Strong knowledge of lumber commodity
markets.Analytically driven and comfortable using data to inform
decisions.Experience in effectively leading and managing teams
toward company goals.Experience managing POS databases with
understanding of good data hygiene principles.Proficient with the
Microsoft Office suite of applications (including Excel, Outlook,
and Teams).Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.Physical RequirementsThis is largely a sedentary role;
however, some filing is required.This would require the ability to
lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool
as necessary.Exerting up to 20 pounds of force
occasionallySedentary work involves sitting most of the time but
may involve walking or standing for brief periods of
