We have an exciting opportunity of an experienced CPA in a local accounting firm in Vancouver, WA. We seek a professional who is client orientated with strong technical and communication skills who enjoys challenging projects. We are a small but busy firm with an opportunity for partner/ownership! We are an independent, multi-disciplinary CPA firm and our clients are primarily small to middle market privately help businesses and their owners. Our firm provides tax assurance, business and transaction consulting services to a diverse group of clients in a wide variety of industries, many of which are in the construction industry. The ideal candidate must be able to lead and manage multiple engagements to deliver quality service to our clients. Job Description: Independent thinker and ability to multi-task Preparation and review of tax (individual and business), compilation and review engagements Work with staff, review and evaluate their work and communicate with partner Plan and supervise the performance of professional services Manage multiple clients and the ability to give superior service to all Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service Make decisions on tax and business consulting matters Recognize client problems and develop solutions Research and resolve tax and accounting issues Clearly convey thoughts and knowledge and suggest solutions to owner Prioritize and manage time Must be able to work 50 hours per week during tax season (Approx.
