seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Permanent Emergency
Department RN Manager to join our team in the Medical Industry.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that allows you to make a
significant impact on our patient's lives and their families. The
Emergency Department RN Manager will oversee the daily operations
of our Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional
patient care, while maintaining compliance with all state, federal,
and hospital regulations. This role requires a strong leader with
excellent communication skills, who can inspire and motivate a team
of healthcare professionals.Responsibilities:1. Oversee the daily
operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and
effective patient care.2. Coordinate and direct the patient care
team, including RNs, LPNs, and support staff, promoting a
collaborative and positive work environment.3. Develop and
implement departmental policies and procedures in accordance with
state and federal regulations.4. Ensure compliance with all
hospital protocols and procedures, including patient safety and
infection control.5. Coordinate with other department leaders to
ensure the continuity of patient care.6. Monitor and evaluate the
performance of staff, providing feedback, coaching, and training as
needed.7. Participate in budget preparation and financial
management for the department.8. Lead emergency response efforts
and manage advanced trauma life support.9. Participate in the
recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new staff.10. Foster a
culture of continuous improvement, promoting staff education and
professional development.Qualifications:1. Current and valid
Registered Nurse license.2. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
required, Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.3. Minimum of
3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting, with at
least 1 year in a leadership role.4. Advanced Trauma Life Support
(ATLS) certification.5. Proven experience as an RN Unit Manager or
similar leadership role.6. Excellent knowledge of emergency
department procedures, patient care procedures, and hospital
administrative procedures.7. Strong leadership and organizational
skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.8. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
interact effectively with patients, families, and staff at all
levels.9. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and
stressful environment.10. Strong problem-solving skills and the
ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations.11.
Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) and other
healthcare IT systems.12. Commitment to continuous professional
development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in
