Wage: 28.00-30.00 DOE + Differentials as follows:

1.50 per hour eve shift differential, 1.00 per hour noc shift differential, 2.40 per hour weekend differential pay beginning Friday noc shift through Sunday noc shift

Full-time and Part-Time team members (over 20 hours/week)accrue PTO at rate of 0.0423/hour during their first year.


The Traveling Certified NursingAssistant (CNA) is responsible for providing residents with direct nursing care and assistance with dailyactivities under the direction of a Licensed Nurse and as directed in resident care plan. TheTraveling CNA floats between Prestige locations to fill open shifts based on the high priority staffing needs. You are required to be flexible in this position and have the ability to be assigned to our highest priority locations in the state that you are licensed. This is considered a resource position. In addition to the hourly wage, we offer mileage and lodging when necessary.


  • Ensures residents personal care needs are being met through routine check-ins and promptly responding to call lights
  • Provides care to residents as outlined in the resident care plan. Reviews changes to resident care plans daily
  • Communicates observed changes in the resident's condition to charge nurse for assessment
  • Assists residents with individual personal care needssuch as grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding,incontinent care, toileting, skin care, or other needs as required in theresident's care plan
  • Performstasks as assigned by the charge nurse including but not limited to taking vitalsigns, capturing residents' weights, and collecting specimens
  • Lifts, moves, and transfers residents using propermethods and lifting devices as required in the resident care plan
  • Documents care and assistanceprovided to residents as required by company policy
  • Protects the personal belongings of each resident such as eyeglasses, dentures, hearing aids, furnishings, jewelry, clothing, and memorabilia. Promptly reports missing items according to established policy
  • Completes all job duties while following required infection control procedures, including but not limitedto thorough hand washing, proper use of personal protective equipment, andproper disposal of soiled materials
  • Followsand supports fire life safety practices and procedures and promptly reports anyunsafe conditions or equipmentto building leadership and immediate supervisor
  • Completes all requirements for in-service training
  • Travelsto various Prestige centers and communities to provide direct nursing care andother clinical and operations supportincluding but not limited to training and mentoring CNA, NA, and students
  • Partnerswith community leadership to ensure proper orientation to safety and emergency disaster plans, infection control, andother location specific procedures prior to beginning work at each assigned location
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    Must hold current certification inthe specific state in which you wish to practice. Certification in multiple states preferred.


    High school diploma or GED or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.


    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


    Ability to communicate effectively, in English, with residents, visitors, and staff. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to understand verbal directions and read written instructions. Ability to understand the daily needs of residents. Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple numbers.


    Ability to accurately observe, report, and problem-solve residents' needs with assistance of a supervisor. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
