Physical Therapists to join our team in Newport, Oregon at Avamere
Rehabilitation of Newport. Located along Oregons scenic coast you
will find Avamere Rehabilitation of Newport. This facility has a
friendly team of one part-time and three full-time therapists
across all disciplines. The building features 49 beds of which 22
are skilled. The team upholds a strong commitment to quality care,
evidence-based practice, and outstanding outcomes.As a Physical

this position is to provide and direct all aspects of quality
patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment
planning, goal setting, family education and documentation
according to organization's guidelines, professional standards, and
community needs. Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate
for current and prospective patients, and to all internal and
external customers. Actively participates in quality assurance and
customer service activities.Key Responsibilities:Provides physical
therapy to patients according to licensure.Directs and supervises
the work of assistants, rehab aides and students as applicable with
State and Federal GuidelinesFollows all organizational and facility
safety procedures regarding ones personal protection and patient
safety.Expands and enhances self, in both clinical and professional
knowledge through associations and continuing education.Supports
and participates in department operations and
development.Communicate patient status and needs to the patient,
family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient
care.Qualifications:Graduate of an approved curriculum in Physical
TherapyLicensed as a Physical Therapist in Oregon.Able to practice
unencumberedIn good standing with all regulatory agencies and
licensing boardsWorking knowledge of Medicare and other payer
sourcesFull knowledge of residents rightsExudes professionalism in
presentationAbility to multitaskMust be able to read, write, speak,
understand, and communicate in EnglishCPR certification#clinical95
