Job Description:
Walmart Inc. seeks a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager
to oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department within
one of our bustling retail locations. This role is pivotal in
ensuring the highest standards of customer care and compliance with
healthcare regulations, while effectively managing a team of
pharmacy personnel. As a Pharmacy Manager at Walmart, you will play
a critical role in providing essential healthcare services to our
community, ensuring customers receive safe and effective medication
therapy. This position comes with a $10,000 sign-on bonus as a
testament to our commitment to attracting top talent. Manage and
oversee the operation of the pharmacy within the store, including
budgeting and managing inventory. Ensure compliance with all
federal, state, and local regulatory laws pertaining to the
dispensing of drugs and controlled substances. Provide excellent
customer service, counseling customers regarding their medication
therapies and answering all medication-related questions.
Administer immunizations as outlined by company protocols and legal
requirements. Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and
pharmacy technicians, ensuring proper training, evaluation, and
scheduling. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide
well-rounded care to patients. Keep abreast of new developments
within the pharmaceutical industry. Address and resolve any
customer complaints or concerns effectively. Expert knowledge of
pharmacological terms and processes. Ability to lead and motivate a
team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent
communication and customer service skills. Proficient in using
pharmacy management software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active and clean pharmacist
license in the state of employment. Certification in Immunization
Delivery is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days
of employment. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but
not required for managerial position.
