Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Salem, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,898 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred. License: Pending Nuclear Medicine license acceptable. Certifications: Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine within six months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire. Must-Have: Capable of operating state-of-the-art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical supportive devices. Description: Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Shift is four days per week, 10 hours each day, either from 0630 to 1700 or from 0815 to 1845. This position is for rotating weekdays. There is no block scheduling. On-call responsibilities will occur after department closes until it reopens. On-call days are expected to be about seven days a month, although these shifts are typically not very busy. Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class within four months of hire. Individual must be capable of performing various Nuclear Medicine procedures, including but not limited to: Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, PET Scan, Bone Scan, Liver Imaging, and more. Experience with electronic medical record charting systems is required. Travelers may float within the facility or to nearby affiliates as needed. Refusing to float may result in contract cancellation. Applicants must be prepared to adapt to various situations in a fast-paced environment.
