Registered Nurse (RN) | Coronary Care Location: Aberdeen, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,006 to $2,200 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 13 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title City/State: Aberdeen, Washington Shift: 1845-0715, Nights Contract Length: 12.00-3,91 Start Date: 03/09/2026 Job Description: Critical Care Nurses (ICU/CCU) provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. In addition to general nursing care, responsibilities of Critical Care Nurses include (but are not limited to): Responsibilities: Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications; reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policy Provides basic, bedside care Initiates patient education plan as prescribed by physician; teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury Records patient's medical information and vital signs Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests Takes samples for lab work, orders prescribed lab work, and evaluates/interprets lab reports Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol Applies Hemodynamic, Phlebotomy, and IV protocols Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, interprets and records electronic displays Monitors catheters, leads, and tubing; initiates corrective action for adverse symptomatology Requirements: Valid BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association A valid professional license within the state of practice/nurse licensure compact Verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify for compact license Proof of right to work in the United States Critical care experience in a hospital setting Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Mandatory Part I Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) Core Mandatory Part III
