Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare professional is needed to provide skilled nursing care within a school setting, supporting a high school student on a 1:1 basis. This contract opportunity is based in Ridgefield, WA, with travel to nearby locations including Vancouver, WA, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include: - Administering medication and managing medication schedules - Performing and monitoring G-tube feedings - Conducting catheterizations as required - Safely operating a Hoyer lift for patient transfers - Providing oral and nasal suctioning care The schedule consists of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with morning bus pickup at 7:59 a.m. and afternoon drop-off at 4:15 p.m. Ideal candidates will have: - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Experience working in school nursing or pediatric care settings - Proficiency in medication management and G-tube feeding protocols - Skills in catheterization and use of Hoyer lifts - Ability to perform oral and nasal suctioning safely and effectively - Strong communication and documentation skills to coordinate with school staff and healthcare providers This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a students educational experience by providing essential health support in the school environment. Candidates should be comfortable working one-on-one and adapting to a busy school schedule.
