Cath Lab Tech Location: Portland, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,539 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI Must-Have: - Experienced in both Cath Lab & Angio with scrub experience. - Will accept local travelers. - Candidates must be willing to float within the site and across the system. - Completion of any assigned education within one week of assignment is required. - Must cancel 1.5 hours before the start of a shift to avoid penalties. - Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause. Description: Ideal candidates should be experienced in interventional procedures. Familiarity with complex cardiac interventions is preferred. Candidates will serve as the first assistant to the operator. Expertise in utilizing equipment such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Rotoblator, and IVUS is desired. Experience in procedures like Impella insertion and IABP placement is beneficial. Candidates should also have skills in recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and maintain a sterile field during scrub procedures. The facility has a dedicated EVS team for turnaround and has modern equipment with a supportive environment. The Cath Lab features several advanced rooms equipped with the latest technology. There is a strong focus on patient care and interdisciplinary support in this role. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to completing necessary compliance documents and competencies. References from a charge, supervisor, or manager from the past year are required. Background checks with no felony hits are mandatory. A one-year separation rule applies for return staff. Candidates must be available for potential call shifts, including weeknights and weekends. RTO restrictions apply within the first two weeks. All RTO must be included with application submissions.
