This contract position offers a unique chance to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a high school student at a local school site. Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a high school student during the school day, ensuring health and safety needs are met. - Administer medication accurately and manage schedules for medication administration. - Perform specialized medical procedures including G-tube feeding and monitoring, catheterizations, Hoyer Lift assistance, and oral/nasal suctioning. - Collaborate closely with school staff and family members to support the students well-being and educational involvement. - Maintain meticulous documentation of nursing care and interventions. Qualifications: - Active and valid RN license. - Proven experience in pediatric or school nursing, including hands-on skills with medication administration and specialized care procedures. - Competency with G-tube feeding, catheter care, Hoyer Lift operation, and suctioning techniques. - Strong observational and communication skills to quickly identify and respond to the students health needs. - Ability to work on-site four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) with reliable transportation aligned with bus schedules (pickup at 7:59am and drop-off at 4:15pm). Location:Position is primarily located at a high school facility near Vancouver, WA, with access to surrounding towns such as Battle Ground, Camas, Washougal, and more.
