registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A registered nurse (RN) position is available to
provide specialized one-on-one care for a high school student in a
school setting near Vancouver, WA, including surrounding areas such
as Ridgefield. This contract role offers a structured schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with bus transportation
provided at 7:59 am and drop-off at 4:15 pm. Key responsibilities
include close daily nursing care to support the students medical
needs throughout the school day. Care duties involve medication
management, feeding and monitoring using a G-Tube,
catheterizations, and the safe operation of a Hoyer lift to assist
with mobility. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in oral
and nasal suctioning techniques to maintain respiratory health and
comfort. Qualifications and desired experience: - Licensed
Registered Nurse (RN) with active credentials - Previous experience
in school nursing or pediatric care settings - Competence in
managing medication administration in a school environment -
Skilled in G-Tube feeding and monitoring protocols - Knowledgeable
in catheter care and procedures - Ability to safely operate Hoyer
lifts for student transfers - Expertise in oral and nasal
suctioning for airway management - Strong organizational and
communication skills to coordinate care effectively Benefits and
