Shift Leader - Regular Job DescriptionSCOPE: A Shift Leader is an hourly employee who after proper certification is put in charge of limited time segments for the daily operations of a specific restaurant location.RESPONSIBILITY: Shift Leaders are responsible for implementing and carrying out the decisions made by the management team to achieve the daily operations goals of a specific restaurant location with the goal of improving customer satisfaction and restaurant profitability by ensuring that Crew Members and other employees are following all policies and procedures adopted by the company. Shift Leaders are only in charge of a shift for a period for a period of time, including a whole or part shift they work. Part-time employees generally work 29 hours or less per week and are not benefit eligible. Full time employees generally work 30 hours or more per week and are eligible for a valuable benefits package.JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare Food - pre-cook, cook to customer order and bag/deliver on tray - including beverage/ice cream based orders
• Stock Supplies - including put away product orders in walk-ins and dry storage, stock work and customer stations, fill ice machines
• Janitorial Duties - kitchen area, dining room, restrooms and equipment
• Lot checks - walk around parking lot to pick up stray trash and look for hazards such as potholes and objects
• Cashier - Front Counter and Drive Thru
• Customer service - including resolving complaints, hazards & safety issues for both guest and employee
• Cash Handling - including till counts, safe counts, deposit preparation & deliver to bank
• Reporting - -- hourly sales, 12 Criticals and Daily Planner, Day Part Speed With Service, Kitchen Minder, Command Station
• Communication - ability to communicate incidents, employee performance and other information to management team
• Training - Link (or other BK Approved course), policies & procedures including safe food practicesNECESSARY TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
