Starting Pay Range - $23.79 - $27.19 / hr Summary : To perform Human Resource related duties at a professional level. Responsible for employee relations, training, compensation, and benefits administration. Will assume lead responsibility for Benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations, Annual Open Enrollment, and work closely with payroll. Essential Job Responsibilities : Facilitates annual open enrollment Performs benefits administration including the communication of benefit information to employees. Leads monthly New Hire Orientation. Communicates and adheres to various Human Resource policies, procedures, laws standards and regulations. Coordinates quarterly departmental meetings with HR across the agency. Works closely with HR Data Integrity Specialist to ensure personnel file compliance. Assists with exit interviews, monitors trending and prepares reports for Senior Management addressing corrective action and continuous improvement. Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Maintains HRIS System records and compiles reports from the database to include statistical reporting and analysis of Affirmative Action and EEO reporting. Participates in working groups and committees. May take the lead in the absence of the Chief Human Resources Officer. Manages special projects as assigned. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Non-essential Job Functions : - Supports agency mission, goals, and objectives. - Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships both within the agency and community at large, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. - Other duties as assigned. Education, Licensing and Experience : -- Bachelor---s Degree in Human Resources, Administration or Management preferred. -- Two years of human resource experience preferred.
