practical experience. 5 years of experience in program or project

with/without direct reports. Experience implementing and executing
environmental, health, and safety management (e.g., ISO 45001 or
equivalent) including management of EHS compliance for industrial
facilities. Experience liaising with federal, state, and local
authorities regarding EHS issues. Preferred qualifications:
Professional EHS Certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, REM, WSHO, FSM).
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team
projects. Experience managing environmental programs and systems
(14001 or equivalent) (e.g., emissions, wastewater, etc.).
Experience working with vendors on improving their EHS programs and
driving their performance plans. Electrical safety experience.

multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with
stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules,
identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional
partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices,
time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the
players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As a
member of the CSRM Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)
Operations team, you'll be responsible data center operational EHS
legal compliance, program implementation, conformance and EHS
resource management. As an Area Manager, you will play a vital role
in driving continuous improvement across Google's EHS operations in
the North Central Area of the United States and beyond. In this
role, you will proactively identify, organize, and lead program
activities and stakeholders to deliver impactful business,
operational, and technical improvements. You will be responsible
for scoping, phasing, and leading ambiguous cross-functional and
cross-organizational challenges, ensuring alignment of senior
stakeholders across various departments. Additionally, you will
also provide additional support and project management oversight to
new and critical EHS initiatives to continue to create and iterate
our EHS programs. You will manage a team of EHS Program Managers to
ensure a consistent and uniform approach to EHS program
implementation across the region. The US base salary range for this
full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Oversee EHS initiatives and programs across
regional operations, managing budgets, resources, and a team of
program managers to ensure efficient execution of safety systems.
Identify and evaluate operational EHS risks. Design and lead
data-driven programs to mitigate business impact while contributing
to global and regional focus area strategies. Monitor EHS
compliance at regional data centers to ensure uninterrupted
operations, providing site-level leadership and support for the
existing fleet and global initiatives. Track program performance to
implement corrective actions and drive a continuous learning
culture that enhances project productivity, safety, and operational
efficiency. Build relationships with internal and external
stakeholders to foster a culture of safety, ensuring all strategic
plans align with the organization’s overarching EHS outlook.
