Description:Purpose: To contribute to the development and verification of next generation video display technologies, components, and systems targeted toward the rapidly growing AR/VR segment of the display market. Development and verification of complex software solutions for new components based on high level user requirements.Working hands-on in the lab to bring up new silicon, boards, and systemsDevelopment and verification of low level device drivers and algorithms for video processing Adherence to best in class development standards, including configuration managementActively participate in group design and code reviewsSkills:Device driver, Embedded c, C++, Firmware, Embedded software, video processing, electrical engineeringTop Skills Details:Device Driver DevelopmentC++ / CRTOSAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required5+ years of professional experience with embedded systems research and development5+ years of C or C++ development experience4 year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldSoftware integration and debugging experience with embedded, multi-threaded operating systems.Comfortable with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, bus protocol analyzers, etc.Experience with OS internals and driver development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.PreferredExperience with various scripting languages (Perl, Python) strongly desirable. Experience with BSP code, dtsi setting for low-level Android display subsystem infrastructure.Experience with GPU processing APIs such as OpenGL, OpenCL, or Vulkan.Experience with MIPI signals.Experience working with industry-standard SoC architectures.Fluent with Object Oriented development and associated design and analysis tools.Preferred: M.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldExperience Level:Intermediate Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
