They respond to incoming help requests from end users via telephone and help desk tickets. They are responsible for the initial setup of desktop and laptop computers with and for end users. They configure, test, and troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access for local and remote computers or devices. They add or replace memory, keyboards, motherboards, and other computer components and peripherals. They prioritize and schedule problems and escalate (when required) to the appropriately experienced specialist.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide First-Tier support to end users on a variety of issues. Installation and repair of desktop systems in all supported sites.
  • Respond to incoming help requests from end users via telephone and help desk tickets.

  • Supports internal and external customer service by understanding and documenting internal and external customer needs and expectations, and communicates to appropriate team(s) when an expectation will not be met

  • Contributes to the continuous improvement efforta. Documents processes and procedures, eliminates non-value added activities, and participates in cross functional CI teamsb.
