Job Title: IT Technical Analyst
Pay & FSLA Status: Competitive Compensation, D.O.E., Hourly
non-exempt
Regular Schedule & Shift: Monday - Friday, Day shift
Regular Weekly Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week (overtime as
needed)
Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours accrued year 1; 120 hours accrued
annually after year 1
Paid Sick Time: 40 hours annually

POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Technical Analyst is responsible for performing IT-related
duties on a professional level and works closely with IT management
in supporting company computer systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according
to specifications.
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize
performance.
Collaborate with IT team and developers to produce new systems.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or
replace parts, debugging etc.).
Train users on the new operation systems and provide support.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance
schedule.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Provide first-line support during various shifts.
Maintain awareness and adherence of security measures, policies,
methods, and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access
to enterprise systems, files, and data.
Frequently travel to branch locations.
Provide technical advice/support, troubleshooting assistance, and
problem resolution for PCs, printers, applications, smartphones,
telephones, remote access, and file transfers.
Assist in maintaining and expanding the Information Technology
Internal Knowledge Base documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to travel to OrePac locations up to 50% of each month.
Lodging and meals will be provided by OrePac.
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and
networks.
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy
principles.
Solid knowledge of business information systems.
Professional writing and verbal skills.
Self-motivated. Collaborative teamwork mindset yet comfortable
working independently.
Strong user support and communication skills.
Strong project management skills which allow you to prioritize,
communicate, and execute effectively.
Resourceful self-starter, eager to learn, and a creative problem
solver.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2 or more years of experience in technical support/customer service
roles.
Any combination of education, training, or experience that
demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will
be accepted in place of the education and/or experience
requirements listed for this role.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to see, talk, and hear. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, the ability to
adjust focus, and peripheral vision.
Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a
stool as necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet.
This position operates in a professional office environment.
This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as
laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
This role will travel to OrePac branches up to 50% of each
month.
