Job Description Job Description A national law firm is seeking
an experienced associate to join their Labor, Employment and
Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in their dynamic Portland, OR
office. Qualifications: 3 years of litigation experience on a wide
range of employment issues including wage & hour and single
plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters. Licensed in Oregon or
eligible to be licensed in Oregon. Washington and California (with
PAGA experience) licenses are a plus. Must be self-starters who
possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a
commitment to providing the highest quality client service. About
the position: Candidate will draft and review employment policies
and employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment
agreements, and separation agreements. Candidate will work on the
labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as
mergers and acquisitions. Candidates will work closely with
experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and
opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and
client contact. Compensation and Benefits: Base Compensation
$230,000 - $290,000 / year Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and
