Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Material and Inventory Planner role in Forest Grove, OR . Key Responsibilities: · Plan and coordinate material requirements to support production schedules and customer demand. · Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels. · Analyze usage trends and forecast material needs to prevent shortages or overstock situations. · Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability. · Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP or inventory management systems. · Coordinate with suppliers to track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure on-time delivery of materials. · Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and optimize inventory turnover. · Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy. · Track key inventory and planning metrics and report findings to management. · Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain and inventory processes. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred. · Previous experience in inventory planning, materials management, production planning, or supply chain operations preferred. · Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is highly desirable. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. · Excellent organizational and time management abilities. · Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with multiple departments. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools is a plus. · Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
