Job Description

If you like design challenges for exciting new products, this is the job for you. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will focus on thermal management aspects of new product design, including new image-based applications. The future products will have challenging thermal constraints and the Engineer will be responsible for identifying the best thermal management architecture and design to achieve the requirements as well as lead the other mechanical engineering activities. The thermal design will include developing finite element models and verifying assumptions with verification testing. In addition to leading the internal mechanical engineering for the project, the Engineer will be the primary interface with external partners and contractors that may also be involved to achieve design and manufacturing goals. Experience in high precision and optical systems will be an important part of the Engineer's toolkit.
