Description:Providence is calling a Patient Relations Representative - Providence Medical Group Camas Clinic (1.0 FTE, Days) to Camas Clinic in Camas, WA. Anticipated work schedule will be 8:15am to 5:15pmWe are seeking a Patient Relations Representative (PRR) - Providence Medical Group Camas Clinic to be the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service. Apply Today! Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service and serves as first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phoneNavigate multiple and complex data systems to research and/or record pertinent information in compliance with policiesOperate multi-line telephone system; routes calls and responds to general inquiriesRegister patients; updates demographic and insurance informationMake patient appointments and monitors appointment schedules dailyReviews charts and adjusts daily provider schedules to ensure accuracy in scheduling and visit preparednessWith additional training:Greet incoming patients, obtains initial vital signs (Height, Weight, BP, Pulse, Respirations) and in accordance with predefined metricsDocument pertinent patient care informationPrepare rooms for new patientsStock room supplies and cartsUtilize and maintains supplies to minimize wasteQualifications:Required qualifications for this position includes:High School Diploma -OR- equivalent combination of education and experienceOne (1) year of customer service experience or successful completion of a Providence internshipBasic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office ApplicationsPreferred qualifications for this position includes:One (1) year of medical office -OR- healthcare experienceBasic experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or computerized billing systemsMedical terminology experienceRooming position: CNA, non-credentialed MA, EMT experience, or similar experienceAbout Providence in OregonAs the largest healthcare system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.The Providence Experience begins each time our patients or their families have an encounter with a Providence team member and continues throughout their visit or stay.
