Description PeaceHealth is seeking an Information Security Analyst Senior. JOB SUMMARY Responsible for leading the design, planning, facilitation, evaluation, and implementation of information security-related policies, procedures, standards, and safeguards across PeaceHealth. Assists in the development of the goals, strategy, methodologies, and outcomes of the PeaceHealth Information Security Program and related technologies. Drives continuous improvement efforts by leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized tools, templates, and processes. Provides direction and insight for the best way to support the department strategy and objectives by producing requirements and plans tied to the Information Security Program strategy. Provides leadership, expertise, and technical direction in collaboration with peers, team members, and caregivers from adjacent departments, such as Information Technology (IT), Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Communications, and Operations. Responsible for the successful coordination, delivery, and tracking of outcomes related to significant initiatives and contributes to multiple smaller efforts concurrently. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple information security-related program areas. Prepares and presents detailed and high-level reports. Assigns work, plans, and manages priorities, provides technical assistance, oversees staff schedules, monitors quality of work, monitors team projects, mentors staff, provides constructive feedback, oversees staff training, ensures quality improvement, provides leadership feedback on staff performance, and assists with goal setting for the team. Assists in recruitment, development, and training of department members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Leads the development of information security processes, policies, procedures, standards, and templates. 2. Enables and oversees the department centralized processes library and tools documentation, the development and maintains of a department knowledge base, development of common workflows across the department, and the identification and implementation of automation efforts.3. Protects PeaceHealth's information and information systems by analyzing public and private information sources to develop effective risk management strategies.4. Assists in defining the Information Security Program's strategy, monitoring the health of the overall program and related capabilities, and addressing risks and issues related to the program's success .5. Creates long and short-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources for key department initiatives and capabilities. 6. Partners with the information technology department, teams, and governance bodies to champion and support the prioritization of work related to improving the organizations cyber security posture. 7. Leads and facilitates information security workgroups, including project management, scheduling, coordination, follow-up, status reports, and report outs. Leads and responds to security-related investigations and other information security requests across PeaceHealth.8. Leads the development of information security intellectual capital by making process or procedure improvements, enhancing team documentation, conducting informal team training sessions, and creating new team training documents.9. Develops, promotes, and implements information security education and awareness policies, procedures, standards, and controls in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization. Provides support and assistance to caregivers across the organization related to information security related technology and programs.10. Develops and generates reports and metrics (e.g., system/control metrics, status updates, risk assessment reports, remediation reports) to support information security measurement and reporting objectives.11. Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Information Technology, Business Administration, or relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience required.EXPERIENCE:Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology, information security, cyber risk management, compliance, or a related field required; of which, at least five (5) years' experience in information technology or security program/project management is required.Experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership is required.Leadership experience working with project or technical teams required.Experience working on cross-functional project teams is required.Healthcare experience preferred.LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:Two or more relevant information security or information technology-related certifications are preferred. Examples include CISSP, CISA, HCISPP, CCSP, CRISC, CISM, CBRITP, CBRM, CGIH, GCFA, GNFA, GPEN, GSEC, CEH, Epic Security Coordinator, Epic Health Information Management, ITIL Change Management, and ITIL Foundation.Other SkillsAbility to work independently across multiple initiatives/technologies and seek guidance as needed.Excellent project management, written and oral communications skills.Ability to create and present information in various forms such as textual, graphical and statistical.Ability to collect and analyze data to guide decision making while under potentially intense pressure to address security incidents.Ability to work collaboratively with and lead a broad range of constituencies and respond to their needs and collaborate effectively towards solutions.Ability to lead matters of high sensitivity and confidentiality with both professionalism and discretion.Experience implementing or operating two or more common information security methodologies, such as incident response, risk management, disaster recovery and resiliency, data protection, identity and access management, role- based access control, etc.Hands-on experience with cybersecurity, ethics, and privacy principles, along with related regulatory requirements and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF).Ability to lead others informally and formally.Working ConditionsWork requires fairly-light physical exertion from up to 65% of the time.Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs. or less.Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation.Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail (up to 65% of work time).See how PeaceHealth is committed to Inclusivity, Respect for Diversity and Cultural Humility .For full consideration of your skills and abilities, please attach a current resume with your application.
