About the Role Come be part of the team that directly shapes and affects how OmniSci makes analytics instant, powerful, and effortless for everyone. The Vancouver Storage and I/O team is responsible for how and where customers access their data and how to deliver the highest performance customer experience. This team and technologies are a critical component in OmniScis growth and launching of new products and services. We are looking for software engineers who thrive on complex problems and relish the challenge of operating complex and mission critical systems under extreme loads. Our systems manage hundreds of millions to tens of billions of records, and aids in delivering query results in sub-second response time. You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, are self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment. As a part of the Storage I/O team, you will deliver robust feature sets, intuitive designs, and user interfaces that make it easy for our customers to access their data at scale. You need to really enjoy working and collaborating closely with peers in a group of very smart and talented engineers. You need to understand how to work in a team will all levels of engineers.
