What does the Sr. Business Systems Analyst do?
In this high level and dynamic role, you would oversee and
conduct all aspects of assigned information systems, including
implementation, maintenance, system analytics, training, and user
support. In addition to Business Systems Analyst duties, you would
be a member of the Information Technology (IT) leadership team
where you would supervise assigned IT team members, and partners on

Provide direction for the development, delivery, and support of
information systems and applications.
Oversee the analysis of user needs, identification of interface
issues between applications, implementation of new applications,
upgrades of existing applications, support of application
performance and functionality, documentation of procedures, and
training of system users.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of information systems by
analyzing data and conducting root cause analysis to identify
improvement opportunities and assess system effectiveness.
Integrates data between business systems and business
intelligence software. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends
or patterns from business system data.
Serves as primary contact for application vendors and outside
consultants in matters related to implementation support, report
writing, and/or application development.
Provides ongoing system support by troubleshooting issues,
performing system maintenance and updates, and conducting routine
audits through on-site visits and phone consultations.
Facilitates system training and education on information systems
Collaborates as part of the IT leadership team to support IT
goals and objectives. Directs and/or contributes on special
projects and initiatives.
- Provides supervision and leadership to assigned IT team members
by managing projects and workflow and ensuring key deliverables are
met within specified timeframes. Responsible for selection,
training, coaching, performance management, and annual reviews for
assigned team members.
Education & Experience you need to qualify:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or
related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through
a combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years of related experience with information systems and
- Skilled nursing experience and technical knowledge of company's
information systems preferred.
- Leadership and management experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills and/or Project Management
Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional
customer service background.
