Job Description:

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the processing of semi-monthly payroll cycles, within multiple intra company centers, located in several states ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data Pulls, reviews time clock information for upload into payroll system (Dimensions). Reviews all payroll reports to ensure accuracy and contacts center personnel to clarify information and discrepancies Works closely with center staff to resolve any payroll related issues Ensures compliance with all Federal and Multi-State wage and hour laws Assist with Federal and State tax filings, as needed Process garnishment and other wage assignments OTHER DUTIES Other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES A minimum of 3 years end-to-end payroll experience with automated payroll programs Experience with UKG Dimensions (preferred) Solid understanding of Federal and Multi-State tax requirements and wage and hour laws Excellent attention to detail while maintaining strict confidentiality Ability to develop and maintain business relationships Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organization Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including staying professional in difficult situations Proficient in MS Outlook Excel Word Ability to take direction yet work independently and display initiative and motivation EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE Associates Degree in Business or Accounting Preferred REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports to Payroll Manager WORKING ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
