Job DescriptionReady to earn a great bonus and looking for a set schedule you can count on? Have at least 6-8 months experience as a DSP? We currently have two openings for a Weekend Swing Shift Direct Support Professional to join our team. You will be working a 1pm-11pm shift every Friday through Monday at a variety of homes located throughout Vancouver. Guaranteed 40 hours/week, $18.45/hour. NWLS provides 24/7 supportive care for adults with developmental disabilities who live in their own home. Benefits-$20.95/hour for all shifts-Hire on/Stay On Bonus - $500 after completing 90 days + an additional $500 after 6 months with all training completed.-Benefits (medical/vision/dental/HSA)-Employee Referral program- $500 bonus!-Paid 75-hour state required certificate training-Paid NAR (Nurse Assistant-Registered) 1 year license-Paid CPR/First Aid, Food Worker cardComing soon....401K with matching, life insurance, and PTOKey Responsibilities:Assist with individuals personal care - personal hygiene and groomingDaily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safePlan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/mealsAccompany individuals to scheduled medical appointmentsAccompany individuals on fun community activities-movies, swimming, trips to the beach or zoo, shopping at the mall, etc.Assist individuals with self-administration of medications Document services provided using computer softwareRequirementsBe at least 18 Years or olderMust be able to provide proof of Covid vaccination recordMust have 6-8 months recent caregiving experience, preferably as a DSPMust have reliable transportationBe Able to Pass a Washington State Criminal Background CheckHave the Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Have good written and verbal communication skillsHave intermediate computer skill
