Job Description:

We are a small but fast-growing elder law firm in Vancouver, WA looking for an All-Star Salesperson (also called our Solutions Specialist or Client Engagement Specialist) to ensure that the firm is always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients. -

The position will entail both sales and customer service responsibilities. -

If you are not an all-star, and if you cannot discuss big price points and highly personal complex problems with maturity, sensitivity and confidence, please do not apply. If you don't have the stomach to do some prospecting and follow-up with prospects, please do not continue. -

This position is only for all-star salespeople who can both sell legal services and cultivate new relationships to generate new leads. We provide training in what you need to know to best help our clients, and for the right person this will be a highly rewarding position personally, professionally, and financially. -

We need a bright, creative, empathetic, and compassionate person of high integrity who can convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance the client experience. You will work closely with other members of the team to develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources. You will help us realize our vision of helping more people! -

The salesperson doesn't give legal advice, so legal experience is not required. Prior sales and customer service experience are required because we can teach you how a case progresses, but we can't teach you how to care about the person needing planning and protection. -
We are looking for a team player with the drive, empathy, creativity, and organization to help us expand our business. The person we hire must bring a high level of energy, positivity, and can-do attitude to work every day. -

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include bonus opportunities, paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance coverage, and the option to participate in our retirement savings plan with employer match. Base salary range is anywhere from $50,000 to $75,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications. -

Responsibilities:

Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/ revenue-generating activities
Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects
Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages
Convert "no" into "yes" by identifying and resolving potential obstacles such as budget, timelines, shareholders, competition, and other pain points
Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves
--- Conduct initial client consultations to sell legal services
--- Oversee the smooth transition of new cases to the legal team
--- Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us
--- Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources

Qualifications:
--- Understand that sales is all about serving the needs of the client, not about showing off
--- Understand how to genuinely build a relationship with a client
--- Practice highly skilled active and dynamic listening
--- Show the ability to interact with different types of personalities
--- Authentically show empathy to potential clients and put them at ease during a difficult time
--- Know how to close a sale by revealing the real urgency and value
--- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
--- Think on their toes and not get discouraged when things don't go as planned
--- Be willing, able, and excited to quickly learn about new topics (like the Medicaid system)
--- Treat a call or meeting at 4:30 pm on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning
--- Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures
--- Be a team player who consistently acts with respect and integrity
--- Be tech savvy (we use specialized cloud-based software)
