Job Description:
** This Engagement has a hard requirement of working onsite in
Vancouver, WA.
Title: System & Process development Engineer (Level 5),
Location: Vancouver, WA
Rate Range: 144,000 - 176,000
Duration: Contingent Worker, Long-term extendable contract up to 24
months max.
Must Have skills:
Experience with developing mass-production-capable optical
metrology systems, optical alignment techniques and systems,
opto-mechanical integration and automation.
Experience of opto-mechanical design using NX or equivalent
software
Experience of international vendor management.
Good-to-have skills:
1. FEA Simulation experience (structural stress analysis.)
2. Previous experience managing Vendor relationships for automation
tool development.
3. Ability to communicate and work cross functionally.
Summary:
The main function of the role is to drive the engineering
development of display system integration including novel
integration equipment and processes.
The role will closely collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
that consists with material scientists, mechanical engineers,
optical engineers, automation engineers, and product operations
teams.
Job Responsibilities:
--- Drive DFM reviews, equipment bring-up and qualification, and
maintenance and quality control in-field
--- Develop SOPs for on-site operations and training
--- Provide data analysis and reports of tool performance and build
data summary
--- Design and drive tooling DOEs to support development of
equipment architecture feasibility, tool iterations,
reliability.
--- Drive in-field failure analysis of performance gap of
equipment
--- Manage international vendors and partners to co-develop
tools.
Minimum qualifications:
--- Knowledge of mass production and automation of consumer
electronics products
--- Experience with developing mass-production-capable optical
metrology systems, optical alignment techniques and systems,
opto-mechanical integration and automation.
--- Working knowledge of optical sensing technology and machine
vision applications in automation tools
--- Working knowledge of opto-mechanical design using NX or
equivalent software
--- Experience of international vendor management
--- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
--- Bachelor's degree in optical engineering, mechanical
engineering, system engineering and equivalent
domains;
Preferred qualifications:
--- Experience of developing new product in the consumer electronic
category
--- 5+ years of experience in bringing up optical metrology
systems, machine vision systems, precision alignment systems, or
opto-mechanical automation systems for mass-production
--- Knowledge of structural and stress analysis and FEA
--- Master or Ph.D in optical engineering, mechanical engineering,
and equivalent fields;
--- Experience of working with international vendors for automation
tool development;
