Southwest Washington (BGCSWWA) is seeking Teen Youth Development
Professionals to join our team and help change the lives of

productive, caring and responsible citizens'.RESPONSIBILITIESWith
supervision from the Club Director, the Youth Development
Professional will:
- Plan and implement, or support the planning and implementation
of a variety of activities for teenage youth in a specialty area -
Sports, Games, Technology, Art, Education and other recreational
settings.
- Provide behavioral guidance using conflict resolution
techniques, restorative practices, and problem-solving.
- Provide guidance, affirm positive behavior and act as a role
model to youth.
- Provide an emotionally, and physically safe environment through
active supervision, setting clear expectations, advocating for
members and maintaining clean program areas.QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to furnish a completed (2 dose, unless J&J)
COVID-19 vaccination card on the 1st day of work - Required
- High School diploma or GED - Required
- Pass a National Criminal, Social Security, Local Criminal and
National Sex Offender Registry Background Check - Required
- *Must be at least 21 years of age or older* - Required
- Willing and wanting to learn how to work with youth -
Required
- Experience planning and leading youth activities
- Fluency in multiple languages a plus
- Demonstrated abilities in incorporating a diversity of
cultures, ethnicity, languages, abilities, and socioeconomic
backgrounds with all stakeholders
- CPR & First Aid Certifications - Required within 6 months of
hire date. -WORK SCHEDULE
- Must be currently available to work between 1pm to 7pm
(Including a weekly Staff Meeting), Monday through Friday, expanded
hours available during summer
- Approximately 20-25 hours per weekEMPLOYMENT TYPE
- Part-time (PT) / Year-Round
- Non-Profit OrganizationCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $16.00-$18.50 hourly depending on experience
- Additional compensation available for candidates who possess
effective verbal and written skills in various languages to provide
translation services -
