We continue to invest in core technologies, products, people, and capabilities with the objective of broadening and strengthening the product portfolio, improving efficiency, and enhancing the environmental performance of its products.What you'll do:The Product Assurance team is seeking a System Design Operational Support (SDOS) Engineer to support Production Pass-off Tests. SDOS is a System Design Integration engineering capability that supports the business operations by enabling the business to manage the health of the products using system design and system engineering approach, knowledge of operational definition, and the data integration process. This is a data driven role ideal for individuals with a data focus and an interest in / knowledge of gas turbine engines.The responsibilities of the selected candidate can include:

  • Performing functional pass-off analysis to monitor the production gas turbine engine test system performance, oil and fuel systems, and vibration, and coordinate with production operations team to address any issues observed in the test data and test facilities.
  • Working with the production operation and test groups to manage test cell certification for production engines.
  • Developing production pass-off data reduction programs in collaboration with the System Performance and other various groups
  • Developing tools, trend algorithms and data analysis techniques to detect and predict test cell and pass-off issues, and collaborating with SDOS fleet support engineers
  • Performing system level analysis and resolving engineering investigation, safety alert report, red top support, publishing technical reports, and conducting technical presentation of engineering analysis to both internal and external customersWe are an equal opportunities employer.     • Bachelors Required at a minimum. Graduating between May 2022 and August 2023.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (ME/MET, EE/EET, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering) OR
    • Master's degree in engineering discipline (ME/MET, EE/EET, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering)
    • Minimum GPA: 3.0Work Authorization Eligibility: U.S. Citizen. No sponsorships are available for this role.
