Job Description:
A company is looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance
Specialist for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate internal and external compliance audits from third-party
auditors and/or assessors
Communicate with stakeholders on control requirements and
expectations
Identify opportunities for improvement and lead efforts to address
them
Required Qualifications:
3 years of information security program management experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (or equivalent
experience)
Practical experience with certifications and frameworks like SOC 2,
CSA STAR, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, PCI-DSS, C5, IRAP, and NIST Special
Publication 800-53
Experience with continually improving an organization's compliance
program
Fundamental technical understanding of key technologies such as
operating systems, networks, application development, databases,
virtualization, and cloud infrastructures
